Osseointegration Surgery Improves Connection Between Limb & Prosthesis

Permanent implant system in patient with transfemoral amputation increases comfort, mobility, and limb strength.
To study pain management, 99 patients participated in a trial evaluating buccal absorption of cannabidiol (CBD) for pain control following shoulder arthroscopy. Patients in the experimental group received CBD tablets 3 times a day for 14 days. Patients in the control group received placebo tablets, as well as 5/325 mg oxycodone/acetaminophen to be taken as needed, with instructions to eliminate as soon as possible.
