From October 31 to November 3, NYU Langone Health interventional cardiology faculty and trainees will join international colleagues in San Diego, CA, for the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) 2026 annual scientific symposium.
A highlight of this year’s program will be a series of live cases led by Sunil Rao, MD, Binita Shah, MD, Dmitrios Bliagos, MD, and Louai Razzouk, MD, MPH. The cases will be livestreamed in the Coronary Live Case Theater on November 2 from 2:15 to 3:45 PM and are open to all meeting attendees.
“These live case demonstrations will showcase our expertise at addressing heavily calcified coronary artery stenoses and chronically occluded coronary arteries, which represent the most complex types of coronary artery disease,” says Dr. Rao, director of the Leon H. Charney Division of Cardiology. “Patients with this severity of disease often have limited treatment options, but our interventional faculty can offer a less invasive approach to help patients feel better and live longer.”
A discussion following the live case presentations will provide an opportunity to further examine the techniques and clinical considerations highlighted during the procedures. “NYU Langone is an international leader in the treatment of cardiovascular disease,” Dr. Rao adds, “and we have tremendous experience and expertise in managing complex patients.”
